A bank’s plan to close three local branches in Sheffield has come up against opposition from local residents and their Liberal Democrat councillors. NatWest plan to close their branches at Bradway, Highfield and Earl Street in the City Centre on 13th July. However, a Lib Dem motion calling for the branches to stay open will be discussed at a meeting of Full Council next week.
