Local Broomhill Liberal Democrat councillors are backing local residents in the Parker's Lane area in their fight to clean up their community. Putting their words in to action, the hardworking councillors helped local residents in a tidy up of "Ellis's back garden" off Whitham Road.

Local Liberal Democrats are demanding action from the city council to help residents keep the area tidy. Cllr Paul Scriven, Liberal Democrat member for Broomhill, said: -

"This great event follows a positive meeting to set up a 'friends' group that met with Cllr Shaffaq Mohammed last year. Now is the time for more local people to get involved in this project"

"Your three local Liberal Democrat councillors will help this group get action from the city council to clean up and improve the Parker's Lane open space. If you would like to help the group then you can contact me on (0114) 266 2068"
